DOLPHIN WATCHING CRUISE

Wild Dolphins! Fresh Air! Natural Bays! Beautiful Sea!

Catch sight of real, wild dolphins while you cruise along side Guam's most beautiful coast line with our Dolphin Watching Cruise.

Guam is one of the special places in the Pacific that has a resident population of wild dolphins living just offshore. Every day we go out to view these playful marine mammals using a spacious and stable boat. The trip takes viewers along Guam’s beautiful coast in search of the dolphin pod. Once we find their spot for that day, we carefully observe as they swim at our bow, surface for air and play. These dolphins are usually spinner dolphins and they are famous for leaping from the sea, jumping and sinning.

What To Expect
You will leave for the harbor by air-conditioned bus and you will take a short walk down the dock to our custom-built boat at harbor. Take off your shoes or slippers and relax. We have a large, covered inner cabin where you will sit for your briefing. Once out of the harbor, the captain will tell you are welcome to come out to our spacious front deck to see the ocean and the Guam coastline. The captain will take you to one of Guam’s bays where the dolphins are being seen that day. Dolphins like to sleep during the day and use their unique sonar to hunt and night. But they often break from their naps to ride in the bow wave of the boat or surf in the boast’s wake. You will be at sea 45-60 minutes watching dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish and other marine life while enjoying the fresh air. You will also be given a cold fruit drink refreshment. Afterwards, you will motor back along the coast once again and back into one of Guam’s quaint harbors. From there, the air-conditioned bus will take you back to the Fish Eye restaurant. We recommend you choose to add the buffet to your tour as the buffet has many delicious items including local Chamorro food and Asian specialties.

Most dolphins you will see on your cruise are the spinner dolphins. They’re small dolphins living throughout the year along the coastal waters of Guam. They love to jump, flip and twist above the surface of the water, thus the name spinners. During your cruise, you may also see some pilot whales. They have a distinct round head and are 10-16 feet long. At times there is also a chance to see a pod of bottlenose dolphins and, if we are very lucky, a sperm whale pod may appear in the summer in the open sea. Dolphins rest by swimming in slow circles close to the sea floors of Guam’s sandy, protected bays. Those with more energy like the dolphin teenagers may swim at the front of our boat. They also love to surf in the boat’s wake. Guam is lucky to have these wild sea mammals and we sincerely hope that this environment will continue to be preserved on our beautiful island of Guam.
